Pedro Wirz draws inspiration for his artistic work from cultural history, science, craftsmanship, and folklore. He was born in Brazil but emigrated to Europe in 2007, completing his art studies at FHNW HGK in Basel in 2011. He is the father of two children and has lived and worked in Zurich since 2018.
His works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally, and he is represented by Galerie PhilippZollinger in Switzerland, Galerie Nagel Draxler in Germany, and Kai Matsumiya Gallery in the United States.
