Sabrina Fernández Casas was born in 1988, and lives and works in Geneva.

Her artistic practice focuses on oral, migratory and post-industrial narratives. Using various subversive strategies - piracy, distortion, transformation - she explores the circulation and modes of dissemination of this experiential knowledge, through her works and editions.

She is co-founder of MACACO Press, a collective project exploring the relationship between publishing and performance.

Sabrina Fernández Casas has been awarded a residency by the José María Jove Foundation, A Coruña (2023); Artistic Residency Musées 24/24 - Musée des Beaux-arts de La-Chaux-de-Fonds (2023); Pro Helvetia Artist Residency, Sacatar Foundation, Brazil (2022); Bourse de la Société des Arts, Geneva (2020); KIOSKO Galería Artist Residency, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (2018).

Her work has been exhibited at La Ferme La Chapelle, Geneva (2024); Crisis Galería, Lima (Peru), Centre d'art contemporain de Genève, La Cápsula (Zurich), CAN - Centre d'art de Neuchâtel, Kiosko Galería (Bolivia), Weserburg|Museum für moderne Kunst (Bremen), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Galería Bacelos (Vigo).
