Viola Leddi is an artist living and working between Milan and Geneva.
Primarily using airbrush paint and ceramics as a means of expression, Leddi draws from Italian art history, feminism, internet culture, and her daily life to open up speculations about possible pasts, forgotten female genealogies, and stories yet to be told. This is the first time the artist incorporates silkscreen printing into her working process. She is co-founder of Altalena, a research project active since 2017.
She studied at the Brera Academy, the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and HEAD - Genève.
Viola Leddi's work is represented by VinVin Gallery, Vienna/Naples.
