Anaïs Nariman Aïk (FR/CH/PL - 1992) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Geneva, whose work revolves around issues related to the social system in a narrative context. Her questioning revolves around real-life situations, which she finds a different way of interpreting. She experiments with the gesture of drawing as a tool, to convey different aspects of her subjects. On the one hand, through her writing practice, she regularly integrates into her performances and openings. Her visual work, enriched by her performances, gives rise to a complex whole.

The images Anaïs creates often give an impression of déjà-vu, of apparent banality. Yet she is able to deal lightly with complex and intricate subjects, such as social issues. Her work focuses on narrative systems, notably through drawing. The archetypal images she uses capture the visible and the strangeness of situations.
