Matheline Marmy (*1993, CH) works with malleable and reactive materials such as metals, water, salts, textiles, and organic elements, exploring interactions between matter and human gestures. She holds a BA in photography from ECAL and an MA in fine arts from the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam. In 2021, she received an Artist Start from Mondrian Funds.

Her work has been exhibited at institutions including Centre d'Art Contemporain Genève, Stadtgalerie Bern, Photoforum Pasquart, Kunsthaus Langenthal, Fluxum Foundation, Het New Museum, and TENT, as well as independent spaces. She has participated in residencies at Centre for Advanced Study-Landis Gyr Foundation (Sofia), La Becque (La Tour-de-Peilz), Cité Internationale des Arts (Paris), and Pro Helvetia (Berlin).
